Get Fokus’d Productions partnered with Open Buffalo to create a poetic, community-rooted video that brings their mission to life: advancing racial, economic, and ecological justice across the City of Buffalo. Centering the voices of staff and board members, we crafted a visual narrative that feels both intimate and expansive—showing Open Buffalo as a collaborative civic force working toward long-term equity and an empowered democratic society.

Filmed with leaders in the places where change happens, the piece highlights how Open Buffalo builds power through leadership development and advocacy & organizing—equipping people most impacted by systemic inequities to identify problems, shape public systems, and create lasting solutions. Grounded in collaboration and our lived-and-learned approach, we produced a story that builds awareness while honoring the communities Open Buffalo exists to serve.
